This involves initiating contact with any French resident concerned, as the income tax declarations in France are due by 19th May, 2015, and any French resident with valuable interests including the trust fund will need to make a form of declaration either on their income tax return or later on their ISF return. Failure to do so will mean that the trustees will need to pay the 1.5% levy inl ieu.
